Tiny Little Things

Isaiah 42:5
Thus says God, the LORD,
who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it,
who gives breath to the people on it
and spirit to those who walk in it:

The Lord created the heavens and stretched them out, and it’s not an empty space! There are stars, planets, satellites, galaxies, meteors, and billions of things my mind can never understand! He spread out the earth and what comes from it, and even gives breath to the people on it! Look, He has created man in His own image! He gives us breath, the breath of the Lord Himself! The zillions of stars on the space are so so mighty and wonderful yet the Lord doesn’t give breath to them all, but to us! if He creates everything in the galaxies so wonderfully beautiful and majestic, what can it be to us the one creation He created with His own hands!

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus not for ourselves but for the good works He has in mind when He created us. Yes, because Mark 10:18 says

“And Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’” None is good but God alone, so we would never do any good works outside Him.

If God creates everything out of nothing, we who are created in His image and likeness being given the ability to also create; create something out of what the Lord has created, and it is, by right, should be good – which is in God and for God alone. SDG.
